purple

watching every star spangle sadly

in the harsh flames of hunger

the settling of that sour smog

unveiled a pitiful puddle

of plastic purple

every engine sputters

over to the roadside

in celebration of national collapse

the maelstrom of eminent change

shredded up the market tarp

and rained on ruptured roofs

of banks and dwelling spots

but who can distinguish

diluted blood from dirty ink

when gushing down the gutter

they tried to sell that as gasoline

but it burned up all the quicker

when they poured it on the flag

and only made our mother sicker

you probably bought the gas

but never asked about the catch

walkin 'long the equinox

the erratic madness of a rabbits'

a rather marvelous event

'neath a marmalade of moonshine

the harvesting is drenched

drinking dew and dervishing

with druids in the grove

kicking rhythm to the crickets

licking music from the toads

congealing reeling visions

in the mucus to compose

like tickling an inner lunatic

to lycanthropic throws

as the laughter of the lagomorph

echoes the air of equinox

the psychotic celebration

trickles quickly then it stops

L O L

he leaped from the roof
then fell forreal
and all the people did
was yell     L  O  L
long before 9-1-1
was ever even dialed
it went platinum on yutoob
with a parenthesi smile
one with colon eyes
beady soul windows
of a mind colonized
packaged up air-sealed
oxygen free
take your breathe away
to make you say O M G
dont laugh your ass off
get off your ass and live
computers eat clocks
but never outlast the fridge
your macbook cannot feed you
what an apple can
you drink all that juice
but electricity is not a vitamin
how many volts
are keepin you stuck to the chair?
people are jumpin off the rooftop
but who fuckin cares?
you committed suicide
when you signed up to get pacified
just get inside the box
and let your casket drive

inspineration

We are weaving a planetary cacoon
of information in preparation for the transformation
so earth may hatch her heavenificient span
of wings whose wind will scatter the rings of jupiter,
cymbals ring as she lifts up and flutters to other extremes
on the milky spectrum to copulate with other airborne planets
where together they will spin a nest of galactic proportions
our planet is a living beang
a seed about to sprout
into a butterflowerfly
and we can feel her breathing
when we close our eyes

Wobbly House

was watching wind do the rubber pencil to a home
wobbling from the roof down
then exploding into a slightly cloudy shower of
splinters. silly hurricanes.
a child caught the devil in a cold.
walk around her if you can.
my neck skin bubbles to the beat of a bad liver
like a hickey gone wrong
thank god for the alarm clock.
hello new day, id rather be with you

Sssummer Sun

Goodbye Summer sun
the time has come for you to fall
you fucking ball of liquid scales

protected by a shroud of shade
ive watched you spray your shit for months
wondering who is the prick
who picked you up
scattering venomous rays
of serpents flickering tongues
along the pavement hissing
through those sticky teeth
cottonmouth wide with thirst
i curse your dawn
and crush your eggs
my toes are webbed with yolk
you must be medusa's head
this burn is what you spoke
go back in your bag i beg you
let me praise the onset of your dusk
hush your mouth, bitch
i defy your stare
even when you get the air
thick as stone
Oh Summer sun
you are prone to fall
and for that...
i am thankful

Random Cypher on Campus

A distant heart
was drumming out gravity
I had to see the source
we magnatized
inside of me i felt my
magma rise
mesmerized we circled
in, strangers unchambered
and swaying from the fingers
   of the string man
they chanted, one rapped
the ritual underway
I waited for the clouds to part
and then unleashed a voice
from my hunger pains
possession gushed out unexplained
perfection touched then hummed away
children on a drum at play
was the song i sung today
